Privacy & Cookie Policy

Clear information about how we handle enquiries, personal data, cookie preferences and optional social content.

Last updated: 22 October 2026

We respect your privacy. We collect the information needed to discuss and deliver your project, and we never treat a quotation request as blanket permission for unrelated marketing.

01 / Who we are

ZYLANO LTD is a UK limited company (company number 14059438, VAT number 412360735). Registered address: 409 Kitson House, East Station Road, Fletton Quays, Peterborough, PE2 8UD, United Kingdom.

Contact us at group@zylano.com, or via WhatsApp at +44 7743 757306. We act as a data controller for personal information processed in connection with our own website, enquiries and business operations. Different responsibilities may apply when we process data on a customer's behalf in a commissioned platform.

02 / Information we collect

  • Enquiries: your name, email, phone, company name, project requirements and correspondence sent by email, WhatsApp or social media.
  • Meta lead forms: information you choose to submit, including names, contact details and your selected requirements.
  • Customer records: quotation, invoicing, business contact and payment administration details where relevant.
  • Website traffic and security: hosting access logs may record IP addresses, user agent, timestamps and security events for operational purposes.
  • Public incorporation data: public UK corporate records used in our business information services, which may include personal information about officers.
  • Optional embeds: loading Google Maps or Facebook page content may transmit information to the relevant provider and result in cookies being set by them.

03 / Purposes and lawful bases

We use contact data to answer your requests and prepare a quote (steps toward a contract and/or legitimate interests); fulfil agreed services (contract or legitimate interests in the case of business contacts); issue invoices and maintain required records (legal obligations); protect systems and investigate misuse (legitimate interests); and provide business-information services using applicable lawful bases, safeguards and marketing rules.

Submitting an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to unrelated promotional messages. Where permission is required for electronic direct marketing, we seek it separately. You may object to direct marketing at any time.

04 / Sharing and international transfers

Information may be handled by our operational suppliers, such as hosting, email, accounting or customer communications services, only as reasonably necessary. We do not sell personal contact details submitted in an enquiry.

If you choose to visit Meta services, Google Maps, WhatsApp, Apple App Store links or payment providers, those independent companies process information under their own policies. Some services may process data outside the UK; where UK restricted transfer rules apply, suitable safeguards are required.

05 / Cookies and optional content

The website uses a minimal first-party localStorage preference named zylano-consent-v1 so it can remember whether you allowed optional external media. This setting is necessary to respect your choice and does not track you for advertising. It remains until you clear site data or change your preference; the setting stores a version, chosen preference and time.

Optional external services: the embedded Google Map may set or read cookies when loaded. It stays blocked until you press Accept all, enable External maps in settings, or explicitly press the map load button. Loading the map shares connection details with Google and may trigger its own storage technologies. Our Facebook link is a normal external link and does not load Facebook resources unless you open it.

We do not intentionally load advertising pixels or behavioural analytics in this website edition. If that changes, our notices and consent controls should be updated accordingly.

You can accept, reject or change your optional media preference at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer or here. Essential functions remain available if you reject optional media.

More about the providers: Meta Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.

06 / How long we keep data

We only retain records for as long as reasonably needed. As a general approach, an unanswered or unsuccessful enquiry may be kept for up to 12 months after the last relevant contact. Customer records and invoices can be kept longer when required for tax, accounting, contractual or legal reasons. Hosting and security logs are retained according to service-provider settings and operational needs.

You can ask us to delete information where the law permits. Certain legal duties may require us to retain limited records.

07 / Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection rights can include access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to processing. Where consent is used, you can withdraw it. We do not make solely automated decisions through enquiry forms that have legal or similarly significant effects.

To exercise a right or raise a concern, email group@zylano.com. If a concern is not resolved, you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

08 / Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when services, processing activities or applicable law change. The date at the top indicates when it was last revised. This notice should be reviewed against our actual systems and supplier arrangements whenever those change.
